Listening to Podcasts with Pocket Casts

Since about a year I really love listening to podcasts. I used Podkicker Pro for almost a year now and it is a really great app for that. Some time ago I switched to Pocket Casts, which is, in my opinion, a little bit better. Some things I really love about Pocket Casts are:

  • Automatic download of new Podcasts if you are connected to a WLAN
  • Smart Playlists: I use two playlists, one for my favorite podcasts I want to listen at all costs, and one list for podcasts I just listen to if there is nothing else for me to listen too.
  • Nice GUI
  • Nice way for selecting new podcasts and search for podcasts.
  • Forward and back buttons for jumping back 10 seconds if you missed a sentence or two, and 30 seconds forward button.

    Thx for the recommandation. I am using Podkicker Pro ATM and loving it but this app looks a bit nicer indeed. I will give it a try…
